- As a member of the British Parliament, I now say that we have passed the Quartering Act. We have concluded that this act will state that all colonists must provide our British soldiers with whatever they need and whenever they need it.

- Once the British started going into the colonists home, they were not happy. They were very upset and felt like they ere being treated very unfairly. They had to provide the British with everything, even if they didn't have enough money for it.
- We shouldn't have to! This is so unfair to us!
- We don't even have enough money to do all that!
- You must let us stay here and give us whatever we want. It's now the law and if you don't follow it you will be in big trouble.
- The colonists were very unhappy about the Quartering Act, therefore they stopped relying on the British for a crisis and started relying on the Militia Men.

- We refused to get help from the British from their disrespect to us!

- Why didn't you just call the British? This is what their job is partly for.
