  • As the Trade union Organizer I am here to represent your rights and needs and explain the process and my dutiesin this meeting for you as new members.
  • Workers have raised many issues with the employer, however to no prevail their concerns are not being met. To top it all off some staff members have been threatened by one of the managers “if you're not happy to be here then leave the are many people looking for work out here”.

  • The workers elected a spokesperson (Musa) to help them contact the trade union organizer in order for them to access Organizationalrights with reference to the LRA relating to the Procedures and presses they should follow to engage with management.

  • The trade union organizers have gotten representation in the workplace to resolve the workers' issues. this gives them organizational rights to access the workplace.

  • The main role of the organizer is to recruit new members and assist the union in serving its members
  • By recruiting 50 members to represent, their duties are to providing guidance and assistance and gain organizational rights by informing employer in writing of the argininal rights in question and with proof of registration and representation
  • The employer has 30 days to reply, if not the matter will be referred to the CCMA.
