- Do you remember me.
- When we had gone into Czechoslovakia I had managed to snatch up 4 loaves of bread, enough for me to make it through the trip. A long march was still ahead of us but we would be stopping the next night so it would be ok.
- A prisoner kept following me and I could recognize him but never remembered his name. He was very annoying though. Every time I would speed up so would he and even though he looked like he was about to drop dead he kept up.
- When we finally stopped for the night I sat away from the other kapos so that I could eat my bread without the begging people. The boy began asking me questions which was very annoying But I continued with my bread. However he wouldn't stop asking and so I pulled out my knife and put it to his throat. But he continued to stare into my soul and I couldn't do it, for some unknown reason I just could not do it. I brought my knife down and cut of a hunk of my bread tossed it to him and he walked away. Finally he would leave me alone.
