- We find out that Victor has a crush on Teresa,and he hopes that they are in French class together. While walking to his homeroom, Victor sees his friend Michael and they chatabout their summer.
- Falling Action
- Victor practices scowling to make him look handsome. Furthermore, Victor and Teresa end up in the same French class. He tries to impress Teresa by pretending he knewhow to speak French.
- Resolution
- After class, Teresa tells Victor that she didn't know he could speak French. Mr. Bueller, their French teacher, listens to their conversation and Victor pleaded with his eyes towards Mr. Bueller so that he wouldn't say that Victor actually doesn'tknow how to speak French.
- Thankfully, Mr. Bueller doesn't say anything about Victor speaking French. Teresa then asks Victor to help her with French and he agrees.
- Since Victor didn't actually know French, he ran to the library and checked out 3 French books to learn French to teach Teresa. That is when Victor realized that he was going to like seventh grade.
