- Louis XVII summoned an estate-general meeting in 1789. This was a general meeting represented by French estates. Since there was a poor harvest due to the deficit of money which caused the prices of bread to go up.

- The National Assembly was formed by the 3rd estate. Then three weeks later a statement has formed about the Declaration of rights of a man. Then French peasants were alarmed and offended by the change of the church.
- Napoleon: now that I am crowned emperor I have new arrangements for the people
- The constitution of 1791 established a limited monarchy with an assembly that made law, rejected or approved war appropriations. A new gov't formed called the National Convention. Many hoped that fleeing France would undo the revolution and those were nobles Emigres, and other people.

- The Radicals who led the "Reign of Terror" causes the French people to conform to revolutionary acts. That was the time Robespierre was also killed. The Radicals has also formed a gov't called the National Convention. since the French citizens had enough of the revolutionary extremism they formed a new gov't called the Directory. *note that this was supposed to be a guillotine*
- Napolean had seized power in a 1799 coup d'etat. He also became 1st consul of France. Napolean code introduced French law uniforms and lycees. H was crowned emperor in 1804. Then in early 1815, he was defeated at Waterloo.
- Metternich had three goals at the Congress of Vienna. One of which included the Balance of Power. This was so no country was a threat to others. Legitimacy was then affirmed that driven rulers from Noplopeons time can return back to their thrones. Tje concert of Erope was am alliance bu Matternihc, do that other nations can help one another if theres a revolution break out .
