- Hey everyone, my name is Norma Jeane Mortenson, or better known as Marilyn Monroe
- I was born on June 1st 1926 in Los Angeles
- Today I want to tell you my story, in less words, who am I.
- Also, since I was a girl I had to have The constant move from one home to another resulted in my bad educational background.
- I had a really rough life, when I was seven, my mom, Gladys Baker was hospitalized after being diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic, a severe mental condition.
- So as you can see, I didn't have an worthy education at all.
- Everybody there told me I was so pretty, and a lot of people started noticing I had future as a model.
- So after my childhood I turned 16. and got married with a man named James.
- During my marriage I worked in a fabric, in which I helped to create arms, because of Second WW.
- A lot of advertising companies stared to call me, the I became a model that appeared in a lot of magazines.
- I wanted to be an actress, so in 1946 I signed with 20th century fox
- While I was working in there, I just got payed 125 dollars a week, imagine!
- Also when I became a small actress, they decided to change my name to Marilyn Monroe, so I would be known as that.
- But, I decided to break contract with 20th century fox, becase I didn't got payed as good as I wanted.
- My first important movie was called Niagara, I was the main character, and that blew my fame blew up.
