America Declares it's Independence with the Declaration of Independence. It is signed by a total of 56 congressional delegates, including Benjamin Franklin and future president Thomas Jefferson.
September-October 1781
America and France formed an alliance. the French started preparing fleets to bring weapons and goods to our soldiers.
September 3rd, 1783
The Articles of Confederation are ratified. They hadn't been completely ratified until now.
Washington's army put the British troops at Yorktown under siege. a force under the french Count De Rochambeau joined them?
The Treaty of Paris ends the war. After the Rebel victory at Yorktown, the war was over, and we signed a treaty with France to help in their revolution.
