Not so long ago, something happened to me that has never happened to a mortal man.
I am about to show you the cliff that caused it all.
Where are we going?
No man has ever survived what I have endured. You think I am old but it took less then a day to change my hair from black to white.
What happened?
Helgeson, Norway
The Maelstrom is the main vortex (whirlpool) of the seven islands. It is from the island of Moskoe in the midway.
What is the Maelstrom?
My two brothers and I used to go fishing in the ocean between many islands. However, these trips were very dangerous because the islands were surrounded by whirlpools. This is including the great whirlpool of the Maelstrom.

One day, my two brothers and I began our fishing trip to the island of Moskoe. We knew the risks of the whirlpools. We decided to take the risk because of the variety of fish on the island of Moskoe
We headed out on our sailing vessel.
