- Cassius was displaying logos when he was talking to Brutus. He was using logic to explain that Caesar is just as capable as they are. He was using very basic and easily understandable examples to get his point across to Brutus, he was using examples they have all been through as evidence.
- Portia was using pathos and ethos when she was talking to Brutus expressing her love and wants. She was proving to Brutus her character while also reminding him of the voluntary pain she put herself into just for his love. She was expressing her desire to be emotionally close to her husband and was expressing to him the pain she would endure for his love. This could make Brutus feel guilty because he doesn't want to cause her pain further. She was creating an emotional connection with him by showing her love.
- Decius was using ethos when he was convincing Caesar of his good character and reliable traits. He was trying to convince Caesar to change his mind about his decision to avoid meeting with the Senate.
