- Mrs. White opens the door after the knocking occurs. In hopes of opening the door and seeing her son, in a way she gets what she wants but she doesn't. It was Herbert, but dug up from the grave. His body was torn to shreds after being cut up from the machine. Mr. and Mrs. White both run away from the door in fear of what Herbert has become.
- Terrorized with their dead but somehow alive son in the house, they run to their bed room, shut and lock the door, and panic. Then, they brain storm what to do next.
- Panicking in their room, they need a plan to escape their dead but alive son. Mr. White suggested they wait in their room until he goes in another room and they make a run for it. Ms. White was on board with the plan, but what do they do if they mistake what room he's in?
- Finally, after about a half an hour later, they make a move. Mr. White peaks his head out of the window and checks to see if Herbert is still outside of the room. Then he grabs his wife and runs for the front door. Seconds later they hear him in the bathroom to the right.
- They ran swiftly down the hall and when they got to the door they look behind them and he's chasing after them. They both assume he's here to harm them, so they open the door and run for the car to get away from him.
- They make it into their car and they drive off. Not knowing what or where Herbert will do after, they drove into the town and alerted the police about this unreal event. The police find nothing at the home but a blood trail through the back door and into the woods.
