After Jesus was arrested by the chief priests and elders. He was brought before Pilate. (Matthew 27: 11)
Barabbas!
Jesus denied it and said that if they said it then he is and when he was asked by the chief priests and elders (Matthew 27: 11-12)
What should I do with Jesus then?
Pilate told Jesus that he should give him a proper answer when he was accused by the chief priests and elders, and he still stayed quiet (Matthew 27: 13-14)
Crucify him! Crucify him!
After a while, the crowd demanded that a well-known criminal named Barabbas be released so Jesus can be crucified. (Luke 23: 18-19)
When the crowd stopped demanding for Barabbas' release. Pilate asked what should he do with Jesus. The crowd started to yell to crucify him. (Matthew 27: 22)
The crowd continued to yell to crucify him. Pilate finally gave in and said that he will be crucified and then Jesus was carried off by the Roman guards. (Mark 14: 14-15)
