- Harry Potter found a house elf in his bedroom called Dobby. Harry's friends hadn't written to him and Dobby knew!
- Turns out that Dobby hid the letters because he doesn't want Harry to go to Hogwarts. Harry chased him and Dobby threatened to pour cake on the visitor's wife's head.
- Dobby did it anyway and the lady was covered in cake! Uncle Vermon was really mad and locked Harry into his bedroom so he couldn't leave.
