- !BREAKING NEWS!The whole country is in quarantine because of the new virus COVID-19.
- I don't know what to think about this virus.
- Oh, dear.
- Sorry darling but I can't let you go, the whole country is in quarantine, we have to stay inside.
- Hey dad, can I go to a party at Susan's house?
- *has just talked on the phone with her friend Susan who invited her at a party*
- Ughh! This virus is keeping me from living my teenage life.
- Ohh, I know what I'll do, I'll sneak out later tonight, when my father is asleep.
- While Jessie and her dad were talking in the living room, the news announced an important piece of information, the whole country was going in quarantine because of the new virus Covid-19 which, as far as tehy know, is causing breathing problems. Her father was scared because this virus was new and god knows what else it could do, but Jessie wasn't so terrified, she was rather doubtful.
- Good morning, kid!
- Good morning, dad!
- Next morning...
- Later that day she got a phone from her best friend, Susan, who was giving a party with lots of other teenagers. Jessie was a person who liked partying, so of course she asked her dad if she could go. He answered calmly that right now is not a good time for a party and he told her that she cannot go.
- Feeling like she was trapped at home and obliged to lose her teenage life, she acted like a kid and decided to sneak out at night when her dad would be sleeping, but little did she know that her decision would have a harsh impact on the near future....
- After the party she snuck back in and greeted her dad with a good morning hug, but there was the problem because at the party she got infected with the virus, luckily she was a person with no symptons, so she was somehow safe, but through the hug she got her dad infected.
- *gives the virus to her dad*
- *infected ( got the virus from the party )*
- After several days he ended up in the hospital with a severe breathing problem. No one could visit him, because it was a high risk for the visitor to get infected and to spread the virus to other people.
- After a few days...
- At home Jessie was having a breakdown, because she knew she was the only person her dad had contact with, so it was clear that her dad got the virus from her. She was feeling so quilty and ashamed for what she had done. This was the hard way she learnt what it costs not to respect the rules that are made for our own safety. Don't be like Jessie, DO BETTER!!!
- I can't believe what I've done, I souldn't have gone to the party, now my dad is in hospital and I can't even visit him.
