- The king picks the most ferocious tiger and the fairest maiden. Coincidentally, the princess knows the maiden and is jealous of her because of her previous interaction with the young man. With the power of money, she finds out which door contains which.
- The moment of truth has finally arrived, and the fate of the young man is up to his hands. The princess, who has the knowledge of what the door contains, signals the prince to go to the right door.
- The young man obeys the princess and picks the door on the right, which is the door with the maiden. In these moments, the princess was ready to let her lover go, for she realized the pain of seeing her lover die is equivalent to seeing her lover happy with another, so she picks the second choice, because in the end, his happiness is hers as well.
