- Hi. Two companies have reached out to me - one private and one non-profit organization to serve as a director and I have accepted their offer to become the director.I am not planning on informing UPS of the same as it does not concern UPS.

- I have been asked to serve as a director of a profit and a non-profit organization. Before making a decision, I though of checking with HR if I can accept directorship in these companies?
- Hi. Thank you for reaching out. You can accept directorship in a non-profit organization however you cannot become a director in a private organization as it is against UPS policy.
- Further, for directorship in a non-profit organization, you are not required to submit a disclosure form however, you are required to complete the Business Compliance and Ethics Questionnaire (BCEQ) annually.
