- Princess SIlvia married Mars and had twin sons whom they named Romulus and Romeus.
- Romulus and Romeus were abandoned by their uncle as babies and put into a basket that was then placed into the River Tiber. The basket ran aground and the twins were discovered by a female wolf. The wolf nursed the babies for a short time and allowed them to grow strong and healthy.
- As the twins grew older, they began exploring farther away and near civilizations. They were discovered by a shepherd named Faustulus. For Faustulus and his wife had no son, the couple adopted the twins and raised them as their own children.
- Over the years, the story of the twins spread far and wide, until their grandfather came to the acknowledgement.e wanted to meet the young-heroes. When the twins explained their story of what has happened, he realises that they are his grandchildren.
- The twins became leaders of a band of adventurous youths, eventually killing Amulius and restoring their grandfather to the throne. To celebrate this victory, the twins decided to create a kingdom and subsequently founded a town on the site where they had been saved.
- The twins could not decide the name of the kingdom and fought to death. Romulus consolidated his power, and the city was named for him.
