MLK Jr was born on January 15th, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. He lived with his grandparents, parents, and two siblings.

One of MLK Jr’s most famous accomplishments was his March on Washington on August 28th, 1963, where he marched along with 200,000 people at the Washington monument, and delivered his iconic “I have a dream” speech.
MLK Jr's dedication and work for the end of segregation and unfair treatment against African-Americans and people of color will forever be a big part in the month of Black History.
