- RISING ACTION
- Pony boy Curtis walks home from the movies and gets jumped by the Socs because he's a Greaser. All the Characters get introduced like Pony's friends and brothers
- CLIMAX
- Darry hits Pony so he runs away with Johnny and they get jumped by the Socs.
- FALLING ACTION
- Johnny killed one of the Socs (in self defense) while they were getting jumped and they ran away to not get caught by the authorities.
- RESOLUTION
- Johnny and Pony meet up with Dally, they find that Pony and Johnny were hiding in was burning while kids were in it so they heroically went in and saved the kids.
- Johnny got very fatal injuries in the fire and they were heroes after they saved the kids in the fire, the rumble came up and Dally escaped the hospital to help the Greasers fight. Pony and Dally go to the hospital to see Johnny for the last time.
- Johnny was the only thing Dally loved so after his death Dally killed himself, for a while the group was sad and Pony and Dally started fighting again and Pony was beginning to fail in school and Soda got very sad, but the 3 brothers eventually come to agreement and Pony figures out he wants to write his theme about his situation with the Greasers.
