- Dorothy and Mary are discussing their households. Dorothy: My husband just left the house, he is going to discuss some things with his companions regarding the food crisis. I had some really effective suggestions but he won't listen. Says, that I can't interfere in these things.Dorothy then explains her ideas to Mary regarding food crisis.Mary: That's so bad, he should have at least listened to you.
- Later that day, Dorothy asked her husband Mathew if they could put their daughter Emily in a school because she was old enough to start studying.Mathew: NO NEED! Emily doesn't need to study. It will be a waste of money. Education for girls is only a privilege for the women of Royal households.And anyways Micheal, our son will be old enough to start school in a year. Focus on that more!
- Dorothy was really upset with her husband's reaction regarding Emily's Education. When she was a child she was also denied education. At that time, she might not have understood the importance of studying but now she knows how important it is. She felt bad for her daughter.
- The next day, Mary and her husband Andrew came to Dorothy's house. Andrew was an openminded, kind-hearted man who worked for the royals. Dorothy got to know that Mary's husband knows Mathew and his behaviour towards Emily and Dorothy. Andrew was here to tutor Emily and make Mathew understand the Importance of women's education and women participation in all matters.
- When Andrew was teaching Emily, he realized that she was an excellent student, she understood the concepts in a much faster pace and remembered things clearly. Suddenly Mathew stormed inside the room and started shouting on top of his voice demanding answers.Andrew one by one started explaining everything to Mathew, he calmed down but was still mad about Andrew tutoring Emily.
- Andrew then explained the importance of women education and women participation in all kinds of matters to Mathew. He might not have listened at first but then he started understanding. He might not have changed completely but allowed Andrew to tutor Emily. A few days later Mathew started asking for Dorothy's opinions and advices on matters. Dorothy also saw the change in him and couldn't be more thankful to Andrew.
