Jack fell as he'd have wished. the Mother said.
We mothers are so proudOf our dead soldiers.
He'd told the poor old dear some gallant lies.
Your boy was so brave Miss.
Her weak eyes had shone with gentle triumph, brimmed with joy, because he'd been so brave hes gorious boy.
At least shes happy but I just told her some horrible lies.
The Brother Officer handed Jack's mother a letter writen by the coronel where it says that Jack has unffortunaly died in war.
He panicked down the trench that night. How he tried to get send home.
The Brother Officer lied to the lady telling her that hes son was a brave warrior and a helpful soldier.
At last he died blown into small bits.
The woman believed the Brother Officer, and she was very happy and proud because she believed his son had been a wonderful soldier.
No one seemed to care except that lonely woman with white hair.
At lest he is in peace I knew he was brave.
Wht she didn't know is that Jack was a coward. The night Jack died he was begging the Coronel to send him home.
Please just send me home.
NO WAY JACK.
But a bomb came towrds him and he exploted into pieces dying in war.
OH NO JACK.
No one cared about Jack just his mother and the lies that she believed of her son being a hero.
