- How on earth are we going to take care of the harvest and other rural facilities with a reduced work force?! There’s so much labour but not enough people to do it.
- If all our youth leave the community then who’ll lead our village once we pass? It’s not like we’re getting any younger and without them our village may even cease to exist!
- We want to go to the city and get a proper education too, just like Kate.
- Don’t get me wrong I’m happy that my son and Kate are happy in the city but it’s harder to support myself and I miss them so much.
- Yeah I agree. My daughter Sam also left for the city and ever since our relationship has never been the same; I don’t really see her anymore.
