- This box shows Alicia Neal an astronaut that is Lauren's inspiration. It shows here on mars because she wanted to be buried there but her body was brought down to earth.
- When Lauren was younger she discovered that she didn't believe in what her dad did, including his God and faith he baptized Lauren and her brother. Lauren let it happen because she wouldn't want to be seen as a coward for not.
- Amy Dunn is a three year old who died of gun violence in one of the fenced in communities. this made Lauren realize how messed up teh world is outside of her community.
- This box shows Lauren and her fiends talking about earth seed. They are okay with the idea but not as happy to do it as Lauren
- This box shows Lauren all alone working on earth seed after everyone disagreed with her ideas. Zahra who has offered to help Lauren never really agreed with her either but still wanted to reach the idea of the "destiny", so even the ones who did help still didn't agree.
- the last scene is when Lauren and Joanne were fighting about there disagreements for future plans, this led to the end of the friendship because Joanne finds her crazy for everything she fears for the future. Joanne ends up telling her parents which gets around to Laurens father, as he went to talk with her, it turned out that Lauren and her father both feared the same things for the future.
