- Haden Edwards was trying to make the setllers who had already bought their land pay for it again
- Pay for your land!
- The Mexican Government heard about this, and stripped both Hadens empresario title and his son-in-laws title as governor
- Haden can't do that! we should strip his title!
- And his son-in-laws too!
- Haden Edwards learned of this and him and group of citizens got together to rebel from Mexico and become independent as their own nation, starting the fredonian rebellion
- YEAH!!!
- Lets become independent from Mexico!!!
- Stephen F. Austin found out about this rebellion and he gathered a group of militia to go and take down Hadens flag and put an end to it
- Let go put an end to this rebellion!
- Stephen wasn't the only one mad, the Mexican Government didn't like this rebellion at all and decided to send an army to Stephen to help him take down Haden and his "nation"
- He declared independence? How dare he!
- Lets send an army down there to take down his flag!
- Stephen, his militia, and the Mexican army showed up and forced Haden to take down his flag and his nation was aboloshied. While this wasn't that big of an event it got a lot of attention and led to Mexico sending an inspection tour on Texas.
- We demand you take your flag down!
