- …Oh sorry for keeping you guys waiting, I was listening to some tunes of mine, man I love yodeling, it's a classic, anyways I'm getting carried away. My name is Jimmy but everyone call me Jim the janitor. I have a story to tell you all about a brave girl named Ruby Bridges and in fact the school that I am standing in front of is one of the most important structures in American history. Now you ask, what makes this building so special? Well Ruby's courage is what made it so important in American history, so let me tell you how she overcame all obstacles she was presented while I was working at her school as a janitor.
- Well it all started here when the Supreme Court looked at the Brown vs. the Board of Education of Topeka Kansas case and they made it illegal for children in schools to be separated by their skin color.
- Go Ruby! We are so proud of you sweetheart!
- Even with all of the challenges she was given in life, Ruby overcame every difficult situation that came her way and graduated elementary school, while inspiring many kids today.
