- Summer 2008. We had been in the car for two days, driving down to California visiting family that my brother and I had never met before along the way.
- My little brother and I were sleeping so well once we finally got to the hotel and we could sleep in a real bed. But our mom woke us up wat too early.
- Wake up!! We have a big day ahead of us!
- We started walking, and it felt like we walked forever...
- I knew Disneyland was close, that's why I ignored the signs as we passed them. Until we got to the front gate.
- DISNEYLAND
- My brother and I were so excited!! We had never been before, only dreamed about it.
- We went to different stores, and each got a disney lanyard, and an autograph book for the characters that we met to sign.
- My brother and I were in awe the entire day.
- All characters were there, but we only got to meet a few, like the Winnie the Pooh characters.
- My stepdad made me go on roller coasters (which I do not like). He made it a lot scarier then it was already, I did not like it at all.
- We went on all kinds of rides, like the teacups, we drove around in the Cars cars, we walked through the crooked house, which was very weird.
- ICE CREAM!!!!
- It was very hot outside, so we all got ice cream. But there was a lot of people there as well, and it was getting dark...
- As we were walking, some guy ran into my brother, making him drop his ice cream that he had just got.
- My stepdad was so mad.
- But when my stepdad went to confront the man about it, he found the wrong person since the actual guy had run off.
- Hey man! I didn't do anything!!
- It wasn't him! Calm down, it's okay.
- You didn't make my son's ice cream fall?
- No, it wasn't me, but I'll buy him a new one if you'd like.
- Oh! No, that's okay, you didn't do it, don't worry about it.
- The guy didn't even know us, and didn't spill my brother's ice cream, but still offered to buy him a new one.
- I'll buy him a new one, it's okay. I got it.
- So this mystery man bought my brother another ice cream and saved the day (at least for my brother).
- We spent the rest of the night walking around the parks and enjoying all the beautiful sights and sounds.
- We all slept good that night...
- And we never forgot our amazing day in Disneyland.
- We spent a little more time with family, and then started our long journey home again...
