- Ma'am I have joined recently and I am posted in a Rural branch. I have faced unwelcome conduct of sexual nature from the branch manager. The branch manager due to his performance and long association with that branch is well respected by all customers and the colleagues in our Region.
- Whether I should report this issue to the Regional Authority/HR and whether I would be heard or believed since I am a new employee whereas the branch manager is in the good books of the management. I am also concerned about my reputation if others get to know of this incident.
- Unwelcome verbal conduct of a sexual nature is an offence under the POSH Act. Since you are facing sexual harassment from the branch manager, you must report the issue to the lady liaison officer in our Region, without fear, and explain your concerns.
- Feel confident that this matter will be dealt with full confidentiality, as per the laid down procedure and guidelines under Prevention of Sexual Harassment at workplace
