- Revolt was a form of resistance because the enslaved are going against their master's orders and causing chaos, just like with Nat Turner's revolt, he and 70 more enslaved killed 55 men, women, and children, resulting in Turner and 18 other enslaved to be hanged
- Theft and property destruction was a form or resistance because enslaved people would rob from their master and break stuff on accident but in their Master's eyes the enslaved would do this on purpose to go against their orders and to disobey and defy laws
- Running away was a from of resistance because the enslaved were doing something their masters didn't like since the enslaved were 'property' and because the chores/work wouldn't be done. If the enslaved were caught they would recieve a punishment depending on their master.
- Verbal/physical confrontation was a form of resistance because the enslaved were disobeying, going against the master's orders , and attacking, which was 'bad because the enslaved were being disrespectful
