- When time started there was nothing, except salt water and fresh water. These were called Tiamat and Apsu
- The two waters joined to make the second generation of gods.
- Amongst the generation were Ea. He was reckless and Apsu planned to kill him. But before he could, Ea heard this and killed Apsu.
- This made Tiamat mad, which started a war. This led to the creation of Marduk, the Sun
- Tiamat transformed into a dragon, but while she was roaring Marduk struck her down.
- Marduk created humans, land, stars, the moon and many other things.
