- Many, many years ago in a mexican city called xochimilco people said the cries of a strange woman where are my children! where are my sonsoooos! said the woman over and over again.

- as the rumors in the towns and cities were very cmmon in the post it was said that those terrible cries belonged to a lady who was dressed in white ann who had very long and dark hair.
- the route of that strange woman was almost always the same, she went very slowly throungh the squares and streests of the tonws
- many told story about her and one of them many thinks that this is the story that they had taken her children, so she never stopped looking for them, even after her death
- what all those rumors did make clear is that the woman with long hair could not break the thread that kept her united to her beloved children, so once all the neighbors were aware of#160; the story they stoppend being afraid. from then on, every nigth when the cries began to be heard, everyone#160; said, la llorona is here but now everyone understood her a little more and they no longer had any fear or reason to hide#160;
