- Travis is indented first person to hear Mama's life changing news, although Ruth and Walter are there. Mama tells him with part of the check, she bought the family a house  
- Bobo arrives at the Younger's apartment saying that when Willy got the Money for the liquor store, he ran off with it. when  Walter hears this he yells at Babo to leave in a fit of anger 
- Walter takes the responsibly and tells Mr. Linder that the youngers are not interested in selling the house back to the bank. when Linder hears this he leaves disappointed
