- Lucien Bouchard took over the 'yes' side from Parizeau during the final 3 weeks of the Referendum.
- The 'no' side took the lead in the beginning, but the 'yes' side quickly gained momentum...
- YES!

- The votes were counted... and the 'no' side achieved victory by just 1.16%

- Bouchard assumed leadership of Parti-Quebecois & became Premier.
- I will conduct another referendum on seperation in 1997!
- Quebec continued to try and push for another referendum, and separatism, but it kept getting pushed from the political agenda. PQ continued to bring it up in future years, but nothing more was done.
