- A large number of farmers fell ill and their cultivated lands could not be irrigated. And soon a drought came which destroyed all the crops. Food scarcity was growing. They eventually became poor. Also, a large number of farmers died due to the pandemic.
- All these could have been avoided by taking the affected farmers to hospital.
- You are right, but our village had no hospitals. We only had to go to the neighbouring towns to go to hospital.
- Ok, so now it is important to construct the required amount of hospitals here. And also we need to create awareness among the villagers about MNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Gramodaya Yojana and other important schemes launched by the government.
- But how can we do it?
