- Challenge: Switching Dance Studios
- When I moved to Texas my life changed forever. Little did I know that I would meet the people I would be spending the next portion of my life with. I met my best friends, my neighbors, and my dance teachers. Leaving my old friends was hard, but meeting new friends was even harder. Now I am so grateful we moved to Texas because I have been able to do so many amazing things here like join FFA and do more dance!

- My whole life my parents have been my heroes. They have taught me everything I know and shaped me into the person I am today. I don't usually like it when they are strict with me but later I always realize they were protecting me from being a bad person. I am so grateful to have amazing parents to lead and guide me everyday.
- World Connection: COVID-19
- A little bit after we were allowed to go back to dance in person I had to switch dance studios which was very hard on my mental health. I struggled to fit in with the people there because they all had known each other for years and got along really well. I tried to act more like them but it made me really sad and unhappy. I found out it is better just to be myself because when I try to be something that I'm not I am not my best self.

- In the book The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins, the main character Katniss sacrificed herself for her sister because she loved her so much. Like Katniss I am a very determined and  selfless person. I would sacrifice myself any day for the people I love the most in the world because they are so important to me. 
- Covid 19 affected people in many ways in our world. People became locked in their homes and groceries became hard to find. People struggled with mental health and finding things to do. Personally, I became very sad during the lockdown because I couldn't go to dance and I missed my friends. Even though it was a hard time for me I learned a ton about my personality and who I really am.
