- Oh God! Lets report it by today itself!
- Yes, I’m just getting all the documents scanned to prepare for reporting to DCGI and EC. Have to also email documents to Zoya, the SM after entering in CRF.
- Ok! Ensure that subjects PII is masked before sharing documents with Zoya.
- What is PII? I'm not sure what to mask
- Well, any information that can trace a patients identity such as their full name or date of birth or initials is known as PII. that is Personally Identifiable Information .

- Oh God! That means I’ll have to black-out or put a stickie on the patient's PII before scanning them.Let me quickly rush back and check this..

- Oh! here is a stickie that Zoya put up as a reminder last time.....I remember now....
- Hide PII before sharing with me i.e. Name, DOB, Initials, MRD #, OPD #, Hide with stickies or make black boxes with markers before scanning & emailing...
- but just in case you already sent it without redacting….what will you do??? Watch this space for more..
