- Auntie Matter and Flunky hold tight as they shiver into a dark cave with many tunnels. Auntie Matter and her faithful sidekick enters the cave, and walks toward the door at the end of the first tunnel with circling flames.
- Rack your atoms, it's the domain of the Fiery Fiend.
- Yes, and our last hope to get rid of the Mad Matter Marvels.
- Where are we going, Auntie?
- Isn't he the one who can transform into a poisonous gas? :(
- Oh your Fiery Fiend, the worst villain of all! We need your help to destroy the Matter Marvels once and for all!
- Those pesky Matter Marvels are no match with your poisonous, Matter Maniac Powers!
- Seems to me these "Matter Marvels" need to be taught a whipping lesson. We will CRUSH these matter morons in a MATTER of no time! We will plan a nasty trap that will lead to their ends!
- Meanwhile, the Matter Marvels, (Super Solid, Liquid Girl, and Gas Boy) flash back into Uncle Goodtime's Carnival in search of Auntie Matter ot Flunky. There is no atom of them, until Gas Boy senses the lingering smell Auntie Matter's frozen fart.
- Bim Bam Boom! Stand aside and give us room! We'll work by day and we'll work by night using our powers for what's good and right!
- Now the Matter Marvels followed the trail of Auntie Matter's frozen gas and reached a dark cave with graffiti covering its round walls. The team looked around, flexing their different atoms, confused. Where was Auntie Matter? Then...
- If you pledge allegiance to us, we will free you.
- So you're the Matter Morons! You fell for our trap!
- This is Fiery Fiend, a supervillain hit by radioactive material and will crush you!She is made up of poisonous gases, so hold your tongues!
- LET US GO!!!
- NEVER!!
- Because the Matter Marvels have defied the Matter Maniacs, Fiery Fiend begins to shape her hand in forming the gas, but...Back at the lab, Dr. Wonder senses something is wrong (The Matter Marvels aren't that late!) and checks his tracker. He finds his friends cuffed and worried. Dr. Wonder grabs his secret machine and flashes into the dark cave.
- I am Dr. Wonder, guardian and close friend of the Matter MARVELS. And in my hand is the NanoMachine, a tool that allows me control atoms and molecules. If you do not leave my friends alone, you will have to become unpowerified!
- Then 1, 2, 3!!

- I never risk my powers for some Matter Morons!
