- I have shown the scene where the doctors have to perform surgery in Burqa and they are overworked and exhausted but keep working. My storyboard shows that Khaled Hosseini writes about circumstances. In this scene he shows that you can’t control your circumstances, the best thing you can do is not give up and try your best despite your circumstance. This shows that no matter the circumstances people will use their inner strength to keep going. The women of Afghanistan are controlled by the Taliban and don’t even have access to good healthcare. The doctors are trying their best even though they are overworked. They have found ways to stay strong and make the best of their circumstances, like taking off their burquas when performing surgery. This shows that in order to survive unwanted circumstances, you need to find little ways to resist and keep going.
