At a convergent boundary two tectonic plates come together and can create mountains, hills, volcanoes, ect That shows you that it is converging because two plates are coming together and pushing each other up.At Divergent bounda ries two tectonic plates divide and can create valleys, ravines and more so you know that it was a diverging boundary because they split apart.
