SignSupport for Pharmacy

In this scenario, a Deaf person visits the pharmacy to collect the medicine prescribed by a Doctor s/he visit earlier the day. As the Deaf person enters the pharmacy, s/he is greeted by the pharmacist. However as the Deaf person greets in South African Sign Language, the pharmacist immediately realizes that he does not understand the person. Similarly, the Deaf person also realizes that the pharmacist does not understand him/him. The patient then gives the medical script to the pharmacist, which realizes the patient is there to collect his/her medicine as prescribed by the doctor. The pharmacist however does needs some clarity on certain items on the script, but cannot ask the patient questions. The patient immediately realizes that there is a breakdown in communication and needs to use the SignSupport for Pharmacy application on his/her mobile phone. The SignSupport for Pharmacy app is then used to assist with the medication dispensing.
