- Mother has left us. I'm so sorry to tell you all this. Please, head up to your rooms until dinner is ready. I need some alone time.
- Yes father. We will miss mother, but will continue to support each other barring this sad news.
- We must do something to cheer up father. Let's make him a postcard to get his mind off of all of this.
- I love it! Children, I will go out into the store to buy you treats right after dinner.
- Father, we have made you this postcard. I hope you like it, we made it to cheer you up.
- Oh, hello Nora. I am just here to buy macaroons for the children. I have relaxed the family rules.
- Oh, that's nice. I miss them dearly. Treat them well.
- Torvald seems like he's doing a fine job with the children.
- Thank you, you are a gentleman.

- Nice to see Torvald think of others before himself.
- Wow, he's a great man.. no no! You can't be with him!
- I am home lovely children! Treats for everyone. I am sorry for taking you for granted, you three are everything to me!
