- When I was in Haryana then I was working in an NGO and used to participate in activities being conducted on conservation of soil.

- Since we mainly grow rice, maize soya bean, cotton, chilies and turmeric; Most part of the soil is red gravely soils.

- We farmers adopted the process of counter ploughing, grass bund, soil bund, drainage ditch, silt application and plantation to prevent soil erosion.
