- Gravity erosion is a type of erosion in which unconsolidated substances such as weathered layers on slopes are moved by gravity, although it does not depend on a specific exogenic action. Gravity erosion includes landslides, collapses and debris avalanches. Although some people do not consider mass transfer to be in the category of erosion, but erosion and transportation are combined.
