- Mr. Marv is teaching his students all about the importance of the "Duck and Cover drills" that all teachers taught their students during the cold war.

- Mr. Marv has his students practice these drills. When the sirens go off he yells to remind the children what to do. In school if they are in class they duck under their desk, if they are not near a covering or outdoors find the nearest wall and duck next to that.
- Duck and cover, they are coming!
- "Duck and Cover Drills"Don't make a mistake, just duck and cover and you'll stay safe.
- Mr. Marv apologizes to the children for the war, even though it is not his fault. Then he explains the importance of these drills, which is to stay safe from the enemies bombing. The desks or walls provide protection. This is all it takes to stay safe.
- I am sorry you kids have to learn this, and lice in fear. But with these drills you will remain safe.
