Storyboard Text
- FIRST STAGE: NEBULAE
- All Stars begin from clouds of dust called nebulae. This birthplace of stars are made of hydrogen gas and dust.
- SECOND STAGE: PROTOSTARS
- The nebula forms a ball of gas and dust pulled together by gravity. As the gas cloud gets denser nuclear fusion occurs.
- THIRD STAGE: MAIN SEQUENCE
- A star's duration on the Main Sequence is the longest and calmest phase in its life.
- FOURTH STAGE: RED GIANT
- The Red Giant stage is the end of a star's life, the temperature near the core rises and this causes the size of the star to expand.
- FIFTH STAGE: WHITE DWARF
- SIXTH STAGE: BLACK DWARF
- The black dwarf is created when a white dwarf star becomes too cool then it can no longer create large amounts of heat and light. The star will dim and become black.
- The white dwarf stage is the end result of the death of a star.
