- Carly is trying to kick the football into the goal. She knows the goal is 11ft tall and she stands at 48 degrees but she needs to know how far she is from the goal.
- She uses sin(48)= 11/x= 14.80ft
- Carly jogs down the field some after she made the goal but notices the ball go stuck in the bleachers.

- Now she needs to know how many feet she needs to walk to get the ball.
- She's standing 5 degrees and the height is 75ft.So, she uses cos5= x/75. Which equals 74.71ft.
- She makes her way over to the bleachers but realizes the first step in broken and she's not tall enough to jump and grab it.
- She looks around and finds a ladder but she needs to know how long the ladder needs to extend.

- She knows she's 3 feet away and is at 32 degrees. She uses tan32= x/3= 1.87ft.
