- Hi There!I'm here to talk about SPICESS.They are the 7 key concepts of geography.
- Space
- Space is thinking about the distribution of space and how it is organised and managed. It can also be what the purpose of that space is. These can be absolutes as well.
- Place is what you think about an area. A place is more conceptual. They can be local or global. Places can help identify you with something and give meaning in people.
- Place Explanation
- Interconnection is everything is connected, some way or another. If everything is isolated, nothing would happen. Interconnection questions can be related to what are places connected or why are these connecting important.
- Change is explaining geographic phenomena and processes. These can be human endued such as trees being chopped down or natural such as fires.

- Sustainability is humans living in an environment living in a future way. These can come from governments giving funds for renewable energy or recycling.
- Environment is relating to human life. This is usually refers to interrelate. The environment supports us by providing us resources. Such as food and materials.
- The concept of scale is examining geographic phenomena. These are done from lots of different spatial levels. These levels are personal, local, regional, national, international and global.
