- Mood: Confused and preocupated because Maya didn't know why was she needed at the office. She thought she had done something wrong. Tone: Suspicious because the auhor's attitude in this part creates a feeing of suspese because you don't know what is going to happen when they arrive to the ofice.

- Mood: Energetic and nostalgic because remembering gymnastics like make her to forget her problems. Tone: Exited because that specific part is narrated with a very good attitude, for the good memories Maya remembered.

- Mood: Cheerful and enthralled because you could feel how grateful was Maya for the way she described that she wanted to hug her mommy, and for the illusion that the present created in her. Tone: Sentimental because of the way it is described how Maya and her mama interacted, in a very lovely way.
- Maya, I have something for you.
- You wear this to the dance.
