- It was early morning and Hardrada's army was suddenly woken by Godwinson and his fast-approching army.
- Hardrada's army started badly but a brave soldier tried to keep Godwinson's army at the bridge but finally one of Gowinson's people stabbed him in the foot.
- Meanwhile, Harold Godwinson tried to convince Tostig (his brother) to join him.
- YES! We won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Soon, Hardrada's army was killed.
- At about midday, Tostig and Harald Hardrada were both killed.
- But Harold Godwinson didn't have time to celebrate because then he had to go to fight the Battle of Hastings.
