- SCIENCE IS FUN!
- It's when you takethe DNA of one living thing and create an identical copy.
- What isorganism cloning?
- It's just like identical twins!
- Here's an example.
- Bahhh
- This is the father sheep. He's going to be the animal we're going to clone. His name is George.
- To clone George we're going to need to take a skin or hair cell, because he's a furry animal, we're going to take a hair cell.
- I'm female
- We are going to need to take an egg from the ovary of a different female sheep and the DNA will be removed from the egg and the DNA from the hair cell will be placed in the egg.
- Then you place the new egg back into the female sheep.
- After 9 months the baby sheep is born with identical DNA from George.
