  • So many assessments to choose from! How will I know if the child's abilities are accurately represented?
  • 1. The SLP prepares for a child language evaluation.
  • I should choose the CELF-4 to assess social communication.
  • My mom said I'm here for a screening. But I bet it's a test!
  • 2. The children interact prior to the evaluation
  • My dad said I'm here to play. I had to take a test before. I would be really nervous if I were you! I hope the test isn't hard because I know how nervous I felt when I took a test!
  • I guess. There's nothing else to do around here.
  • 3. The children find a puzzle and agree to work together to complete it.
  • Wanna help me with this puzzle?
  • Be really careful when you get down! It would be sad if you got hurt and cried. I always cry when I get hurt.
  • 4. The children work diligently to complete the puzzle together.
