- Hey students, I´m going to explain about The Enlightment. The Enlightment was a philosophical movement of the XVIII century, in which intellectuals used ideas of the Scientific Revolution to examine some aspects of life.
- We don´t understand
- Why is it called the Enlightment?
- Called age of Enlightenment, because the ideas that emerged during this period ended many centuries of darkness and ignorance and this brought devolopment for mankind. It emerged in Europe
- The benefits of the Enlightenment are reflected in art, music, literature, medicine, physics and mathematics. Scientific thought encouraged both discoveries and inventions.

- HI class, today I will present about the scientific revolution etween the XVI and XVII century an intellectual movement raised that sought to regulate society on scientific principles.
- Some of this scientists were: Copernicus, with his heliocentric theory, Keppler, with very detailed astronomical data, and Newton with the law of gravity
- Can you give us some examples of scientists in this revolution?
- This method was developed by an English philosopher called Francis Bacon
- In the scientifict revolution the sciientific method was created. The scientific method is a systematic procedure for collecting and analyzing evidence using inductive reasoning.
